I was soooo stupid when I graduated from college. I racked up $25K in c-cd debt. Always made my minimum payment, but always owed SO much more than I made.

I've worked incredibly hard to pull myself out of that situation - and because of that I will never forget how it felt.

You hold your head high, dammit. You have nothing to be ashamed of. I respect your frustration and sadness, I love the fact that you are a teacher for all of the right reasons, and I bow my head to you for your unselfishness in giving, even though your own situation is tough right now. You're a great person, Ms. Tastrophie. You hold that beautiful head HIGH.

By the way, did the pharmacist's bitchy assistant give you the glinty-eyed stare and then talk loudly over your head to the many folks behind you about the "itching, burning rash in your crotch that the medication is supposed to treat, and there might be some slight discomfort, but don't discontinue use because, young lady, you really need to rid yourself of this condition?!"

Just wonderin'. Because that's always a winning situation to be in, per my own experience. Don't ever go to the Eckerd's pharmacy on Skillman Street in Dallas. That girl is an asshole.Going Comomdohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00641441621516976661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-468805100771436547.post-10847383922436052002008-12-16T19:26:00.000-08:002008-12-16T19:26:00.000-08:00and God bless you, sweetie... Keeping up with the Joneses sucks so bad. I wish we could just stop. I am sorry you are in this place right now.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-468805100771436547.post-1109072616490724592008-12-14T21:05:00.000-08:002008-12-14T21:05:00.000-08:00I've been in the rock/hard place boat and yes, it'...I've been in the rock/hard place boat and yes, it's beyond tough. It's tough beyond measure. Hang in there, I hope with all my heart something shifts for you to make your situation easier. I know how lucky I am now and pass along everything I can to charities I believe in. I'm pulling for you and above all else, take the meds and feel better.Vanessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14149777435132497067noreply@blogger.com
